We’re still finalizing the list of program areas, but we promise it will be an unforgettable experience! Our overall program plan is to prepare Scouts for a life of purpose and impact, and each program we plan will help us meet that goal.
Absolutely! We plan to have two large shows where we will all come together to celebrate Scouting.
We love your enthusiasm! Custom items and marketing materials Can be found in the Brand Center which has some great images, videos, and even a sales PowerPoint (with speaker notes). Your council can also findsome great information on the promotional toolkit site. On this site you will find fillable fliers and posters as well as images and video links to help with promotion.
Everyone who attends the Jamboree (Participants and staff) must submit an Annual Health and Medical Record (Parts A, B, & C) and consult your physician to ensure you’re ready for an exhilarating adventure! Be prepared for some physical challenges, as you’ll walk around 5-10 miles daily in beautiful, hilly terrain at elevation. Remember that participation in the National Jamboree is a physically demanding experience. For more fitness information, check out that section of the council contingent guide.

Remember, a troop can consist of as few as 18 youths and two adults. Invite a friend and work to fill that 20-person unit. If you still struggle, we encourage councils to collaborate, and we’re here to support those efforts! Please reach out to your local council for more details.
Units must choose from Scouts BSA Boy Troop, Scouts BSA Girl Troop, Venturing Crew, or Sea Scout Ship. Councils with multiple units can request to camp near each other, and we will do our best to accommodate.

The first session will be from July 19 to 25, and the second from July 25 to 31. But why cut your time short? Plan now to attend the entire Jamboree! You don’t want to miss a moment of the fun.
OA Staff applications will be available through the Order of the Arrow. We’re working closely with our OA partners to ensure a fantastic experience for everyone!
To join our fantastic team, you must be at least 16. However, some roles at the Jamboree may have additional age restrictions, so double-check the job description when registering.

For the best experience, we want you to register early so that you can participate in the planning process and help us build excitement.
Absolutely! We want all staff members to enjoy the jamboree’s fun and excitement, so we are committed to providing time off.
We are so thrilled about the excitement surrounding staffing this Jamboree. Starting in Spring 2025, we will be sending out Jamboree patches, and after the initial distribution, patches will be shipped regularly every few weeks.
Yes! Venturers and Sea Scouts are warmly welcomed at the National Jamboree in 2026.
They can join as members of a Venturing Crew or Sea Scout Ship within their council’s contingent, diving into all the thrilling activities alongside other youth attendees or serving on staff and having a whole new experience!
Council units will be housed close to one another. There will not be an “older youth” subcamp. During the Jamboree, the Venturing, Sea Scouting, Exploring, and International teams will offer several program opportunities for youth and adult program participants.
While most positions are available to those aged 18-20, a few require staff to be 21. Specific job descriptions will clarify this.
The contingent guide outlines the national council fees to attend the Jamboree. For the best estimate, contact your council’s national jamboree committee. Council fees cary based on transportation, recognition items (patches, shirts etc.), pre- and post-jamboree excursions, and much more!
Costs vary based on age and session length. Here’s a quick overview:

We understand financial constraints, especially for our younger volunteers, and have adjusted fees to encourage as many people as possible to join us!
While there isn’t a discount, we are working hard to offer scholarships to help support families.
There are limited Jamboree scholarships available based on need. To apply check out the Jamboree participant page or click HERE to be directed to the application.
A $100 deposit is due upon registration, with half of the remaining fee due by September 30, 2025, and the final half by January 30, 2026. However, with our registration system, you can make payments at any time and can even pay the full amount when you register if you would prefer.
Base Camps Charlie and Delta will be the contingent’s home away from home!
Most staff members will be based in Echo, while Base and Subcamp staff will be assigned to their specific camps.
Staff will camp in designated staff areas, but you can visit your council contingent area during your time off!
Generally, staff members need to bring their tents, although Base and Subcamp staff may have alternate accommodations.
Unfortunately, hammock camping is not allowed at the Jamboree.
We don’t have arrangements for RVs, at the Jamboree.
Yes! We’re committed to working with you to meet your dietary needs, including vegetarian, Kosher, or Halal diets. During registration, you will be asked a few questions about dietary restrictions to ensure we know how to best serve you. Our team may reach out to you to ask follow-up questions as needed.

Great question! Please start preparing for solar charging and consider alternate batteries for your CPAP. CPAP charging opportunities will be limited at the Jamboree, so please plan on having no direct access to power.
We encourage everyone to consider solar chargers and other alternate forms of power.
The showers in Echo are heated; however, depending on the time of day, the shower experience may be more brisk and refreshing.
There will be several locations around the Jamboree where you may access ice.
No laundry service will be on-site. However, staff will have access to their car, so it is just a short drive into town for laundry service.
It depends on the staff position. Many roles don’t require prior training—just your willingness to serve!
The registration platform will have fields where you can upload relevant certifications when signing up!
We can help connect you with local training opportunities. There may also be some opportunity to get trained just prior to the Jamboree during the staff set up period. Reach out to your team lead or national.jamboree@scouting.org to explore options!
We’re looking for EMTs, Paramedics, Nurses, and Doctors—your skills will make a big difference! The position descriptions provide more information.
We’ve arranged a temporary permit to allow licensed medical professionals to provide care at the Jamboree. You will receive more information during the registration process about how to upload your credentials.
It varies, but shuttles or personal staff vehicles will be available for longer distances. On average, staff and participants walk approximately 5-10 miles daily.
Yes, additional buses will be available for staff in 2026!
Absolutely! We’re working on the details and will keep you informed.
We do not have the ability to support personal bikes at the Jamboree.

While we don’t have any dedicated EV charging stations, most people bring an adaptor that fits out 20 or 30 amp outlets and allows them to safely charge their vehicle at certain locations.
